Can This Years Rose Bowl Live Up To Last Year?

As we approach the annual college football classic in Pasadena, the suspense thickens more and more intensely with every passing second as we anticipate what is predicted to be a classic gridiron battle between two perennial powerhouses, USC and Michigan.

Over the years, The Rose Bowl has hosted some of the best names in college football history as they showcased their skills on what is possibly the biggest stage in all of college football. Most recently, we all recall last year when Vince Young of the Texas Longhorns took the game into his own hands with just seconds remaining in his college football career to lift his team to victory becoming the 2006 College Football National Champions.

So, the question remains. How can this year top last year? I think that it is definitely possible for us fans to be in for one of the greatest Rose Bowls ever played. It has been argued that the Michigan Wolverines proved themselves to be the second best team in college football after their only loss coming to Ohio State by three points in Columbus, OH. USC stumbled unexpectedly at the end of the season costing them a shot at the title game. So believe me when I say, there are going to be two angry and motivated teams taking the field this year at The Rose Bowl, and it could be a classic to remember for years to come!

So, tune in on January 1st and see for yourself how this classic battle shakes out! How will the new year start for these two great teams.
